Responsible for developing, applying, and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications (SaaS and/or On-premise).

As a member of the software engineering division, you will define and develop software using tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications as well as providing technical leadership to other software developers. You will also assist in specifying, designing, and implementing modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment.

Job Requirements:

  • Attend daily scrum calls
  • Analyze & resolve any issues that arise
  • Identify root cause and implement corrective action
  • Ability to read custom code and make significant changes
  • Schedule and run preventive maintenance activities
  • Conduct ongoing DB tuning for performance improvement
  • Review the oncoming deployments and test logs and advise on best practices
  • Test and support product updates and hotfixes in QA environment
  • Provide Best Practice guidance for developing custom rules, scripts, integrations etc.
  • Deliver briefing materials on implementations to development leadership as required
  • Report and prioritize feature / function requests
  • Develop knowledge base to assist customer support staff
  • Assist with migrating legacy applications to cloud native microservices

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech./MCA/M.Tech./M.S.) from reputed universities
  • 5-8 years of experience in software testing, software engineering, or related experience
  • Good knowledge and hands on experience in Go (GoLang)
  • Good knowledge and hands on experience in Perl
  • Good knowledge and hands on experience with JSON
  • Good understanding of Object Oriented and Procedural Programming
  • Good understanding of manual testing, unit testing, and test case management

  • Should be able to write quality code and be able to perform peer code review
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and prioritization skills
  • Good Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and methodology

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
